Each silk knitted tie is made by our traditional manufacturer Carlo Fumeo on historical knitting machines. The finish is then done by hand. Inside, a ribbon made of ribbed silk (grosgrain) ensures stability. Our plain-colored knitted ties in the colors we found in the old pattern books from the 1930s are knitted on one of the last remaining knitting machine from the 1920s. The origin of the rattling miracle device: Germany. It has been cherished and cared for by Carlo Fumeo since 1932 - and produces knitted ties with a very fine hole pattern.
