Braided belt white and light gray
Just like our suspenders collection, we also have the braided belts made in a family-run business near Venice, whether as leather belts or made from textile material. Each belt is individually and carefully handcrafted. An elegant and above all comfortable men's belt: the braided bands allow for infinite length adjustment and are fully elastic. For us parts of the leather used are split by hand to then cover the buckle with it. This is a very elegant detail - and requires some craftsmanship.

The people behind it
In Veneto, we discovered a family business that handcrafts woven belts for us. In the picture, father and son: Mirco and Massimiliano Merlo. The leather is processed on-site in the workshop. The buckles are exclusively wrapped in leather for us.
Craftsmanship
Here in the picture, Massimiliano is sewing one of our hand-woven belts. The buckle is not yet covered with leather here - a special feature of the models made exclusively for us. He still has to replace it - otherwise, it won't work out in the end with the quality control.
The special feature
The already mentioned special feature of our woven belts, whether made of leather or textile bands: The robust buckle is carefully wrapped in hand-split leather and securely sewn by Massimiliano. This is a particularly beautiful detail.
