Art Deco in the buttonhole
This buttonhole was specially designed for British band leader Alex Mendham. When performing in illustrious places, it is worn on tailcoats, which have been specially provided with a buttonhole. We are extremely happy to be able to furnish the entire orchestra, not just a style icon in a vintage tailcoat.

The buttonhole carnation - special features
There is an almost forgotten craftsmanship in every buttonhole (cannot be compared in the least with products from Far Eastern countries). Plastic is not used; every flower is built up properly and not simply plugged together or glued on. Even today, recipes that are up to a hundred years old serve as the basis for fabric coloring.

Here, carefully preserved for more than a hundred years, are the historical dies that are still used today. Each boutonniere is made by hand. Each boutonnière is unique and should be protected from moisture and rough hands.
Handcraft from Saxony
There is old craftsmanship in every boutonnière - since 1834. Not to be compared with products from the Far East. No plastic. The flower is carefully constructed and not just put together or glued. Old original recipes serve as the basis for silk dyeing.
